The b/w pictures have come out really nice. Such talents are hidden in us and its sad that sometimes they are beyond anyone's imagination. Keep it up........GREAT!!

this saturday night my wife, jasmine, and I are having dinner with a couple of new friends, Shazli and Afsheen. My wife has told me to be on my best behaviour and not to go into one of my rants about christianity or any other religion. Our friends being Muslim.
Of course I won't, I wouldn't be so rude so forgive me if this comes across as being in any way sexist or politically incorrect BUT there is something very beautiful about veils. An air of mystery and deep sensuality that looks exquisite on Asian women. Fabulous picture and thanks.

Viewed as a series the images tell a an enigmatic story - makes my mind race with possibilites of where she is, what she's thinking...

On a diff note, beautiful, expressive eyes Gulnaz!

woman, i'm always covered up...;)

rebel_heart and gul hassan, thanks and i hope you come again. :)

Cocaine Jesus, of course your comment does not offend. Although I don't weart the veil all the time, but the times I do, I like being enveloped in its folds...feels like home...hope you visit again.

Arian, thanks, and hey all the best once again, just relax and REVISE or bribe, ;)

Geetanjali, thanks...hey you are the writer ;) read your story, Bus Ride...liked it and I hope you keep writing.

Johnny Crash, thanks ;):)

Nice B/W captures. You look so calm and composed here.

Anil, well thank you, the pic was taken by a freind, not me, though the idea was mine.

bablu, :)...rare moments of composure.

You are pretty!! :)

But what I liked best was the contrast between the 2 pictures and the difference in perspectives that they lend to themselves..
'the veil' has a deeply sensual feel to it and in direct opposition to that 'watching' has such a brooding quality to it..almost fearful!
Fabulous idea AND the pictures!
