time bits

rain
whipping her face
a hungry heart

dew
bending the leaf
tear drops

...more like tidbits for thought.

This is just brilliantly done. Well-threaded use of words in these circumstances.

oh my gosh, such powerful images and feelings in so few words...

you say so much with just a few verses. BEAUTIFUL.

that would be me "a hungry heart"
and the last image, so tender :)

.:A:. - that is the thing with contrast, who can say which is better and somtimes the contrast itself is the 'thing'.

Very nice. I've been trying to write more poetry lately. J and I had a "date" and wrote silly poetry together the other night. It was fun.
Keep it up!

Nice and haiku-like, I especially like the first stanza. A driving rain does somehow make you feel metaphorically "hungry," even though I can't say how logically!

hungry heart and tear drop; very beautiful!
good to see you back alive again!

Hiya, hopped over here from Venus' blog, you seem to have a wonderful way with words. But I have this mindblock against poems and haikus, they never reach me :) Read some of your non-poem/haiku posts. Neat.
