static noise

i press my face down into the sheets...
the sound of your voice, languidly naked
scribbles, scratches and marks my silence.

i listen to you straining my body to remember each word. i will want to play those words over and again in my head. maybe repeating them will make them come true. maybe repeating them will take away their sharpness. maybe repeating them i will understand the subtexts, the emphasis...all those little meanings which hide behind words, maybe those will all come to me then, for right now i only hear the sound of tears restrained in your voice and am unable to hear anything else.

Trying to tune out the static and pick up the pure tone of what was really said can be most difficult. You're on a roll, keep it up!!

Ah...all the meanings behind the words we say...sometimes gentle, sometimes sharp, most times confusing. Yes I understand this on many levels. Very poignant Guknaz.

Sometimes we assign more subtelties
To words than they can carry
And heartfelt emotions
Are drowned in the flood
Of implied implicitness

too good Gul...
whats so beautiful is the pace at which it flows.. as u say: taking away the sharpness of the words.. its like a recursive loop u know, every time u read it u add another dimesion to your interpretation...

Gul,there is this thing with some of ur posts.. they leave the person so uncomfortable;
but the reason behind this is the flow; its inexplicable, the sensation which it generates. it constantly ridicules your idea of sustenance.. dont know why but leaves u pensive but soo very close to yourself and again when i think why it leaves one pensive, its this proximity to ur true self.

keep writing..

I love this, the way words and noise are interchangeable, the way you give words another medium in which to communicate.
