sometimes

if the nights were sweeter than caramel and the hours were painted crimson would the practicalities still matter. sometimes we were in love. the little boy ready to please for a smile. the man reaching out to reassure with a warm jacket and a steady hand. i lose when i count. but we danced secretly between moments where tiny heartbeats grew firm.

I'm always curious about the phantom man in your writing. He haunts you and inspires you. I think he should just be with you already. He's crazy not to.

mermaid- maybe he is just an idea in my head... ;)

alien- well...i usually don't like to put my posts in the context of time and space...they are more like free flowing things in the air..as i have learnt that nothing ends...so its just a post...glad you liked it. :)

Gulnaz, this narration is full of passion, yearnings and a journey in itself ... so much in few lines .. brilliant

loved all the lines (i really dont know how to say tht but ...) and when u said "i lose when i count." well Gulnaz at the risk of repeating my self I did went weak on my already weak knees :)

brilliant ... simply brilliant

It's a pleasant surprise to have you back on-line
You've vanished just like that one day, I did hope to read you back!

That is the strength of comfort and a feeling of endless ecstasy within yourself, and in the longing the desire increases further so when you are again near, the passion is without any boundaries!

I hope I am not coming to this blog to take a solace from your words. But undoubtedly there is a lot of easiness, comfort, beauty and proximity, the way you arrange your words... A lovely one again Gulnaz...
