always true

do you remember the uncounted little notes i wrote? look for them in places you have forgotten. tear-stained, crumpled or neatly folded with multiple folds, each crease a nervous tension. the billowing mist from the mountains redirect my thoughts to you but never mind these askew dispatches...it is just the sun showers and you.

Such notes found are often a source of unbridled joy and often one of depressing grief... even joyful memories associated with such notes bring sadness as nostalgia hits back..

very nicely written...

Keep sending those notes, to him and to yourself. You never know what you will get in response.

Annie: Is it grandiloquence or grandeloquence? Isn't that a pejorative - which obviously isn't what you meant?

I thought grandeloquent meant verbally over the top, bombastic, etc. But I'm too lazy to look it up in my online dictionary and this is more fun anyway...

Gulnaz: Eloquent!

i do believe it's "grandiloquence," paul. and i think annie didn't mean it pejoratively anyhow. :)

delightful, gulnaz! as always.

These thoughts like memory gems, glitter and pierce simultaneously. What a wonderful way you have with what seems like a casual question, yet contains layers of life notes.
(love "each crease a nervous tension")
