clinging to words

when night falls and eyes close to the world and to my soul, you whisper to me of desires dark and taboo. bodies arch to needs, still a chasm that is never crossed. words are repeated for a quest which eludes. vows are unmade when we come undone.
Thorns of unspoken shame scratch at the edges of words softer than gossamer. Yielding to the moment but time never ends. a hurried goodbye, afraid perhaps that the mask will slip off the words spoken hereof revealing the phantom of us.

If I wish to carry with me words...and I come to en end to see myslef expiring...I would love your words to run through the air where I lie asleep but out of my self to hear ur words run by me...for I would love to end clinging to words

beautifully expressed. The power of words indeed...what would our actions be if they were not fueled by the power of words...

Sometimes we need the darkness to cloak our lust for the life we desire.

"a hurried goodbye, afraid perhaps that the mask will slip off the words spoken hereof revealing the phantom of us."

Wonderful descriptions and emotion, Gulnaz. I'm always transported to another place when reading your work. I wonder how many of us wear masks at certain times and unveil them only to the select few.

e- aha! :)))

stormy zephyr- mmmm...merci!

illyria- oh honey anytime! :))) thank you!

m.shahin- quite a many of us, it would seem. :) you cannot imagine how happy it makes me when somebody tells me that what i write touches them or transports them....its a compliment which i feel i don't deserve but which i cherish nonetheless. thank you!

Lovely and dark - your writing. Like this piece very much.
Meanwhile...

Erotica keeps you flying high? Of course it does, Gulnaz. I should have thought of that.

And what language do birds read in?

Anonymous said...

at first, i thought not to put up this question; but then ur writings are so very musical that even a slight drift becomes palpable to one's senses.
strange, u recognize anon!

gulnaz said...

zingtrail- aah!! so very touched!!! :)) wishin' you well too sir! ;)

roger stevens- hmmm...kinda like myself, hehe..:) praise from somebody so talented like you and now i'm flying like a bird. :)) thank you!

now lets see birds have been known to carry letters but not to have read mail and i suppose if they were to, well then sorry to use the cliche but the language would be the universal language of love, music! :)

anon- your questions are not only welcome but the interest is flattering and what you have said further....i can only hug you for that! :)) xoxo
as for recognising anon....hmmm...am kinda weird. :)

so wonderfully erotic and yet deeper more heady than that even. as though the thought of afterwards is to recall a singular loneliness. so good gulnaz. so achingly beautiful.

sorry not to have been here of late. work is taking up all my time and i so hate work.

"vows are unmade when we come undone" a very abstract notion which feels as though time is slipping backwards.

There is a sadness in between the passion. Very haunting and beautiful. I've come to you by way of finnegan. I'm so glad it did!

Beautifully spoken passion.

...afraid perhaps that the mask will slip off the words spoken hereof revealing the phantom of us.

Unbelievable sensitivity to the desires that hide within. I LOVE this!
