follow the scent of night-flowers to me. lay down now on sheets crisp and clean. my name on your tongue, secret cries. noises in my head drowned in your heartbeat.
"my name on your tongue, secret cries. noises in my head drowned in your heartbeat." Its amazing that i na few lines u say somuch:) so passionate and so wonderfully expressed.
This is one lucky man for sure. I remember feeling like this. Thank you for stopping by. We are excited and I am also a little sacred sort of like what did I get myself into.
the rain bard: gee thanks! i'm a beginner myself...there are many links on haiku, so i won't bore you with the rules. what works for me is trying to catch a moment in as few words as possible.
.:A:. : passion seeps out, no matter how you deep bury it or how you masquerade it.
Samudraa: :) sometimes one feels there is so much to say and yet we end up using only few words....if lucky, those are understood.
finnegan: yes i would like that, if my name were to be taken it better be indelibly tatooed...hehe
Potted-flower: that picture is a fragement of a flower, which i painted and posted earlier on the post about rain. so glad you liked it sweetie. :)
Anil: love should always be cherished, even when its lost. :)
Irina: i feel like an oxymoron myself! :)
Sue: yes, isnt it a lovely idea. :) u r right about the pic, its a tiny inner bit of the flower i painted and posted earlier. i wanted something delicate and subtle and my digital camera is not working, so i did this. hope its fitting.
Akruti: i don't know how well its expressed but i like passion...:)
Yours Truly...Conman: i hope you are not pulling a fast one on me...thanks anyways...:)
Pecos Blue: it was kind of imaginary...:) don't worry you will be fine. my sis-in-law was pregnant only recently, i gave her this book, what to expect when you are expecting...was quite good, she said. the dr told her to eat lots of proteins and sugars. smile lots and look after yourself.
Gulnaz, how can you write these beautiful verses so regularly, yesterday I was telling my father how you wrote about the tree standing guard. I was saying I can never, I mean never, think of such things even in many years!
Patry: I feel honoured that you should say so, thanks!
Again - author: its you again, with a new name...cool...:)

DeeM: glad u think so....:)

Mridula: you told your dad about it...wow! i am so touched, thank you, i hoped he liked it too. :) btw, there are dry spells too. of course you can and i'm sure you do too. :)
trans: yes, i like love to be sensual, tactile and yet also something abstract, of the other world. no wonder i have no love life, hehe happy b'day once again....:)
Hi Gul!!! (sorry, I've been away for a few) This is incredible. I love the brief but INTENSE urgency of it. Very nice ! The passion is so palpable, I can feel it!

It's quite profound. for me, the feeling of love or passion permeates through the lines.
btw, could you suggest some pointers for haiku for beginners?
Passion runs through these lines. Like the last bit,
"noises in my head drowned in your heartbeat."
My name on your tongue, secret cries.........
soulful and ardent...loved these lines, they mean so much,ah!!
"secret cries. noises in my head drowned in your heartbeat."
that was beautiful...the love that is in these words is something to be cherished...
I love the idea of following the scents of flowers to your lover
Is the picture a close up of the inside of a flower?

Such beautiful sensual words. You have a great talent for eclipsing a world of feeling into a few taut lines.
You painted it, yes it definately works
